Don Hunt

Donald (Don) Hunt joined our team in June of 2025 as our part-time grant writer. Don has been a teacher, a director of an alternative school, a professor, and is the author of two fiction novels and is finishing a third. He has a long-time passion for non-profits and is now bringing his grant writing experience to SPSA to help us achieve our mission. Don has a bachelor’s in English, a master’s in education, and a PhD in Educational Administration from the University at Albany (NY). In his free time, Don enjoys watching his two children do their many activities. Time with family and friends is a primary focus. He is also passionate about roleplaying games, such as Dungeons and Dragons. He also enjoys science fiction and fantasy TV, movies, and books. Don is also a Buffalo Bills fan. Go Bills!
